CAETA Master Program

This course was designed to provide outstanding education in companion animal euthanasia to improve the overall experience for the pet, caregiver and the veterinary team. By completing this course, you will earn a CAETA Certificate of Completion. You will also earn 10-hours of continuing education credit from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB).

Kathleen Cooney
DVM, MS, CHPV, CCFP

Dr. Kathleen Cooney has practiced advanced end-of-life care since 2006 and is well-known for her work in companion animal euthanasia. She is the founder of CAETA and has collaborated in euthanasia training with the AVMA, AAHA, IAAHPC, HABRI, and the Fear Free program.
