Together we will outline small steps, stacking the habits, and supporting each other in personal and professional wellbeing.

Emotionally Intelligent Euthanasia
Emotionally Intelligent Euthanasia (EIE) is born out of the idea that maintaining personal control of emotions are beneficial to one’s mental health and well-being. Managers will receive insight into ways to support their team in navigating what can be perceived as an emotionally taxing service like euthanasia. It is useful to understand what veterinary teams are feeling during euthanasia and what others around them are experiencing.

Building Euthanasia Manuals for the Team: Bringing It All Together
Euthanasia is the one procedure with no do-overs and that leads to significant moral distress when handled poorly. Let’s give attention to it and build something that will have lasting effects for patients, clients, and teams. A recent study showed that most hospitals don’t have a manual for euthanasia even though it’s one of the most common procedures. A euthanasia manual will include medical protocols, policies around convenience or economic euthanasia, how to handle dysthanasia, and much more.
